Mad Pride is a movement that celebrates madness as a cultural identity, challenges psychiatric oppression, and fosters community among those labeled as 'mentally ill.' The Center for Mad Culture recognizes Mad Pride as an essential part of advocacy, art, and activism—reclaiming our histories and our experiences while defining our futures.
